Crockpot Steak and Potatoes
A super simple dinner to prepare and make! It takes less than 10 minutes to prep and then the Crockpot does the rest of the work creating this hearty meal. It tastes delicious and will keep you nice and warm on a cold winter's day!
Equipment
- 1 Crockpot
Ingredients
- 2 lb Cubed Steak
- 2.2oz Beefy Onion Soup Mix
- Baby Potatoes
- 0.5 Stick Butter, Thinly Sliced
- 0.5 Onion, Sliced
- 1.5 cups Thinly Sliced Carrots
- 1 10.5oz Beefy Mushroom Soup
- 1 cup Low sodium beef broth
- 1 0.87z Brown Gravy Packet
Instructions
- Add in the cubed steak to the Crockpot.
- Season this with half a packet of Lipton's Beefy Onion Soup Mix.
- Top this with some baby potatoes. I cut the big ones in half so that they cook better.
- Add half a cup of thinly sliced butter, half a sliced onion, and season with the other half of the Beefy Onion Soup Mix.
- This is optional, but I like to add thinly sliced carrots here.
- Top all the ingredients with the beefy mushroom soup, the low sodium beef broth, and the packet of brown gravy.
- Cover the Crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours or on high for 8 hours.

We absolutely loved this dish. I found cutting up round roast was better than the cube steak because it held up better in the crock.
But this was absolutely delicious, thank you.
