- 1 crockpot or slow cooker
Ingredients
- 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 (0.87-1oz) packet brown gravy mix
- 2 cups chicken broth, beef broth, or your preferred broth
- ½ medium white onion, chopped (fresh or frozen)
- Optional: Salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, or your favorite seasonings
For Serving (Optional)
- Mashed potatoes
- Green beans
Instructions
- Place the boneless chicken thighs in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add the brown gravy mix and broth to the crockpot. Stir or whisk until the gravy powder is fully mixed into the liquid.
- Add the chopped white onion and stir to combine.
- Season as desired. The brown gravy mix already provides plenty of flavor and salt, so additional seasoning may not be necessary.
- Cover and cook on LOW for approximately 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F. Cooking time may vary depending on your slow cooker and the thickness of the chicken.
- Serve the chicken and brown gravy over warm mashed potatoes with green beans or your favorite sides.
