Equipment
- 1 9×13-inch Baking Dish
- 1 Small bowl
Ingredients
- 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian rolls
- ¾-1 lb sliced turkey
- 8-10 slices Swiss cheese
For the Onion Butter Mustard Poppy Seed Topping
- ½ cup 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1 tbsp dried minced onion
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Without separating the rolls, carefully slice the entire slab of Hawaiian rolls horizontally. Place the bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
- Layer the sliced turkey evenly over the rolls, followed by the Swiss cheese. Place the tops of the rolls back on.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds, dried minced onion, and garlic powder.
- Pour or brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls, allowing some of the mixture to drip down between the sliders.
- Loosely cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 5–10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is completely melted.
- Let the sliders rest for about 5 minutes, then cut into individual sliders and serve warm.
