Equipment

  • 1 Crockpot

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, diced
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1.25 oz packet Chili Seasoning
  • 15 oz can Pinto Beans
  • 15 oz can Kidney Chili Beans
  • 15 oz can White Chili Beans
  • 14.5 oz can Diced Tomatoes
  • 15 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 3 cups Low Sodium Beef Broth
  • 2 cups Dry Elbow Macaroni Pasta
  • 1 1/2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, diced green pepper, and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the vegetables are softened. Drain excess grease if needed.
  • Grease the inside of a crockpot and transfer the beef mixture to it.
  • Stir in the chili seasoning, chili beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth until everything is well combined.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3–4 hours.
  • About 40 minutes before the cooking time is finished, stir in the dry macaroni pasta, making sure the noodles are fully submerged in liquid. Cover and continue cooking for the remaining 40 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
  • Once finished, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, stir to melt it into the chili mac, and serve warm.

Delish! I made this in my instant pot using the same exact ingredients and measurements and it came out great. I added the macaroni at the end let it simmer til it was done. And it makes a lot!

  2. This chili is our absolute favorite! However, instead of adding the noodles, we add the chili to crispy fries because our son loves chili fries! Our son wanted it one night so we all decided to try, and now it’s a family favorite!! Thanks for the delicious recipe!
